My 2015 VMA review
The MTV Video Music Awards 2015 went down on Sunday, Aug. 30. Although the evening was a celebration of music, the parade of fashion innovation eventually stole the show. From gowns, to jumpsuits, to glamourous slits, the red carpet saw no shortage of sequins, glitters and excentricities. The event confirmed Taylor Swift (who won the coveted award of the best video) as the queen of the night, strongly supported by her famous clique: Lily Aldridge, Gigi Hadid and Selena Gomez.
Here is my TOP 3 list of the VMA 2015 best dressed:
The Victoria’s Secret angel stunned on her own in a V-plunging neckline custom dress by Alexandre Vauthier. She opened the sleek black parade, followed by Chrissy Teigen. The deep cleavage balanced the classic mermaid silhouette and gave the look a glamourous twist.
The oh-so-sexy actress went boho-chic at the 2015 VMAs, opting for a light pink Naeem Khan dusty rose princess gown with a plunging neckline and crystal flowers embroidered on the organza. She completed her bohemian style with natural curls, braids and flowers in her hair.
On the other side of the color spectrum, supermodel Gigi became the style setter on the red carpet with this bold yellow dress slit up to the hips by Emilia Wickstead. Her sun-kissed tan along with the bright summery color and wet hair look all worked so well together.
