Hafsia Herzi in Venice Film Festival

For the 74th edition of the Mostra of Venice, I had the pleasure to follow up with some great adventures with actress Hafsia Herzi at the festival. Previously, we did Cannes Film Festival together, where her Sakina Paris custom made dress was nominated 9th best dress of the red carpet by ELLE France! And it is always such an honour to collaborate on new red carpet projects with her.

For this new occasion, Hafsia Herzi was presenting the movie Mektoub, My Love : Cuanto Uno by Abdellatif Kechiche, among the official selection of movies under competition. We imagined a baby-doll look for this time.

For a series of interviews during the festival, she wore our Sakina Paris custom-made dress made of Dentelle de Calais and embroidered silk crepe. The hues of beige and dusty white perfectly fits with her

sun-kissed summer skin. The backless cut of the dress is so romantic and adds a touch of glamour to the whole look.

That dress is the perfect day-time look for running between photocalls and interviews with journalists.

Makeup artist Nora Kourkis created a “clean face” look with a 15-min beauty touch-up. Hafsia Herzi’s skin is naturally flawless, so she didn’t have to add any extra concealing products. A bit of foundation, powder and highlighter gave her an instant glow. The glossy waves - created with a flat iron and hair pins - enhances the baby-doll look.
