Sakina Paris fashion presentation in Dubaï

This busy week in Dubaï started on a positive note, as we held our first press presentation in the Gulf region since the creation of Sakina Paris. We presented the new ready-to-wear collection for Fall/Winter 2018 in front of buyers, clients and influencers, in the charming tea room of Dukes hotel.

This majestic hotel, located on Palm Jumeirah, offers an exceptional hospitality service in a very chic decor where our guests enjoyed a typically British afternoon tea time all together in the “Champagne and Tea room”. The whole Dukes team was fully dedicated and created a very cozy atmosphere, among jazz music, pastel-coloured comfy armchairs and some gourmet delights.

I made a personalised presentation of each design so the press could enjoy the Parisian young and modern spirit of the collection. Sketches were displayed, showing the very neutral shades of the color palette, in keeping with the Dukes decor : the collection expresses the softness of winter throughout fabrics that favour silky wools and soft furs: incredible patchworks of genuine fur mixed with wool create a trompe l’oeil effect, collars are softened by furs, and fluffy coats have a maxi cut in order to give a confortable, warm effect.

We were also delighted to present our guests with an exclusive selection of signature gifts from Gemology Cosmetics, Tchaba tea and Moremo hair products.
