Black Swan couture collection at Sofitel The Palm

This week has been a crazy ball of fire since Paris Couture Week started on Monday. Right after our presentation in Paris, my team took a flight to Dubaï to showcase our new collection at Sofitel The Palm, for three days of press meetings.

The week of the Couture collections is a really strategic time for a fashion house, as we get most of our customers, press coverage and orders during this period. I wanted to give a taste of Paris Couture Week to the Middle Eastern region, so coming to Dubaï for this reason was really dear to my heart. PR agency Confluence Paris helped me pull my project together, and Sofitel The Palm hosted my event in their beautiful resort by the beach.

The Polynesian atmosphere of the hotel is very heart warming and welcoming, and my guests had great pleasure spending time at their lounge, talking fashion. Marie-Claire Arabia and Elle Arabia magazines were among my VIP guests. We had a display of 10 looks at the VIP check-in desk of Sofitel The Palm.

I stayed in the junior suite, where they offer a luxury spa retreat with great service. I enjoyed a very comfortable king-size bed with an overpowering view on the beach, and a beautiful bathtub with big bouquets of flowers spread all around the suite just for me, and most importantly, the best sense of hospitality from the hotel staff.
