Cannes Film Festival 2018 - Day 4

It is that time of the year again ! My team was getting ready since the beginning of May for the 71st edition of Cannes Film Festival. I was lucky enough to hit the red carpet for the screening of the movie GANGJACK by Yoon Yan-Bing on May 12.

I picked up a glamourous look for the occasion : the "Maléfique" dress from Black Swan collection. I love the asymmetrical cut of the bodice, and the refined details of crystal embroideries.

What I love about Cannes is the strong energy of excitement and enthusiasm, the unstoppable show of beautiful gala gowns on the red carpet, and most importantly, the wonderful surprise of bumping into a celebrity every minute. Imagine being a fan of Penelope Cruz during your whole childhood and finally seeing her on the red carpet standing next to you ....!

If you had told me 10 years from now that when I grow up, I will be able to wear my own designs on the red carpet of Cannes, I would have never believed it! But life is full of good surprises for those who work hard. Régine, my press relation manager from Confluence Paris took great care of me and was scheduling my agenda for the 5 days of my staying in Cannes. Nora Kourkis did my makeup: we wanted to recreate a glamourous look that still looks fresh and natural. I love neutral colors on my face, and Smashbox has a great selection of eyeshadows and lipsticks that make you forget you are actually wearing makeup.
