Faux fur necessities

Earlier this week, i did a street style photoshoot with a lovely Dutch photographer. I have designed – and sewn- this faux-fur coat and wanted to capture the essence of my look under the beautiful light of Paris.

We decided to do it around Place de la Madeleine. I was inspired by the old movies of Hitchcock, especially from the length and cut of the coat, revealing the wrist and hand (which are to me one of the most sensual parts of a woman!) And what is more feminine than white for a lady?

I love this kind of typical Parisian look: the one you just throw on and forget that you are wearing, the one that makes you feel instantly elegant, yet comfortable. Match it with a pair of nude high heels and you will look like a heroin from the 50’s. But if you pair it with your favorite pair of jeans, you give it a sexy modern twist as well!
