Our mask collection featured on M6 - 66 Minutes (France)
Today, the whole Sakina Paris team is very proud to announce that we will be featured on National television today at 5.20pm. M6 channel followed our fashion journey through the making of our Covid masks in our workshop. As the pandemic gradually became more present through the months - thus affecting the fashion industry at large - we shifted our skills and commercial strategy into the making of accessories in order to boost the sales.
Our Covid masks that are embroidered by hand, made of cotton and washable by hand, they look feminine, with a dash of drama that brings you back to the roots of our house. This collection is inspired by the floral theme, and each petal is embroidered by hand on a myriad of shiny Swarovski crystals, celebrating Nature at its finest during this long period of epidemic. I love the purple mask in particular that brings me back into the ballet world of Tchaïkovsky "La Valse des Fleurs".
I felt so proud and grateful that the French TV showed interests in my creative ideas and wanted to film the whole process in my atelier. There is nothing more thrilling for a young entrepreneur than catching the light of the media. Especially, at the tricky time of launching a new product on the market.
With a great variation of themes, from the immaculate bride, to the mysterious Goddess of Nature, the Sakina Paris woman wears her mask on a daily basis as well as for specific occasions, thus making a functional item become a jewellery creation. Beads of tourmaline, tubes of glass, Swarovski crystals, and gold threads intertwining on soft and fluffy materials, are turning the mask into a piece of poetry so powerfully expressed in my collection. All our materials are recycled from our previous Haute Couture collections, thus, making the mask collection both creative and eco-friendly.
Our certified masks are used as part of a comprehensive strategy of measures to suppress transmission of Covid and save lives. Our items range from 49 to 139 euros and are available by order on our website. Watch us on M6 today !
